- The Sugar Bush 10K & 5K Trail Race -

This 10k & 5k race will take runners along the trails of Hueston Woods State Park, near Oxford, Ohio. Runners will pass through stands of Sugar Maples known to maple syrup producers as the Sugar Bush. Finishers will be rewarded with hot soups, breads, and beverages.  The really fast finishers (the top 3 male and female) will be receiving awards. Registration includes aid stations, and free autumn air-conditioning.

The course hits the highlights of Hueston Woods, taking runners along some scenic hiking trails, including the old-growth forests of the Big Woods Trail and the Sugar Bush trail. You can expect the course to be primarily trail with a very short section of old road.

The race start and check-in is here, near the Beach. Upon entering the park, follow the signs to the Beach area.

Post race snacks/award ceremony -- 10:30 am - 1:00 pm
Due to the nature of this race and the Hueston Woods trail system we can not allow participants to bring dogs along for the race.
